Job Summary

Cheney Brothers is looking for hard-working, motivated individuals to join our accounting team.

Job Responsibilities/Requirements

• Distribute to and monitor workload of team members.
• Aid in escalated issues from internal departments.
• Accurately research and trace accounts receivable payments.
• Reconcile larger and “in house” accounts.
• Monitor, upload, and run monthly aging.
• Identify and assign research projects to team members.
• Validate and post customer payments.
• A minimum of two years of accounting experience is required.
• Requires a sense of urgency with strong commitment to meet deadlines and departmental goals.
• Must understand and exercise discretion.
• Excellent computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office products are required.
• Efficient and accurate 10-key skills are required.
• SAP experience is preferred.
• Have a “make it happen” attitude, take pride in your work, and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
