Job Summary

Cheney Brothers is looking for career-minded, motivated individuals to join our transportation team!  Will efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and manually unload and deliver various products to customers on a delivery route schedule. Job Responsibilities/Requirements

• Deliver products to our customers within our service area by safely and efficiently operating commercial motor vehicles.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Must hold a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a favorable driving record.
• Must have a Hazmat endorsement or the ability to obtain one.
• Must have verifiable employment or explanation for unemployment for the last 10 years.
• Minimum 1 year of driving experience.
• Must be able to lift, push/pull heavyweight (up to 100 lbs) throughout the shift, twist, turn, climb, and reach frequently.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must be registered with the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and must provide electronic consent.
• Must be highly dependable, trustworthy, and honest.
• Requires strong problem-solving skills.
• Must have a positive, friendly attitude, and possess excellent customer service skills.
• Operate vehicle in a variety of traffic and weather conditions.
• Use state-of-the-art equipment, tools, and technology.
• Highly competitive pay.
