Job Summary

Cheney Brothers is looking for hard-working, motivated individuals to join our maintenance team.

Job Responsibilities/Requirements

• Responsible for cleaning and maintenance of commercial and industrial flooring of the warehouse as well as office areas.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, buff, and polish floors.
• Strip and wax hard floors to maintain appearance and durability.
• Shampoo and extract carpets to remove dirt and stains.
• Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and extractors.
• Ensure safety by following proper cleaning procedures and handling chemicals correctly.
• Inspect floors for damage, and make minor repairs as needed.
• Work independently or as part of a janitorial or maintenance team.
• Must be detailed oriented with knowledge of floor cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Must be able to lift heavy equipment, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be familiar with how to operate floor equipment, strip and refinish floors, and restoration techniques.
• Other duties as assigned.
