Job Summary

Cheney Brothers is looking for hard-working, motivated individuals to join our transportation team.

Job Responsibilities/Requirements

• Responsible for collecting, entering, and monitoring data related to our fleet.
• Physically inspect equipment in the yard to obtain readings, record damages, etc.
• Report and track mechanical issues, inventory, accidents, etc.
• Safely and efficiently operate commercial motor vehicle for local transport.
• Must hold Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a favorable driving record.
• Must have verifiable employment or explanation for unemployment for the last 10 years.
• Prefer minimum 1 year of driving experience.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must be registered with the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and must provide electronic consent.
• Operate vehicle in a variety of traffic and weather conditions.
• Microsoft Office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations is preferred.
• Other duties as assigned.
