Warehouse Reach Truck Operator (Night) - Punta Gorda
Cheney Brothers is looking for hard-working, motivated individuals to join our produce warehouse team.
We are looking for technically skilled forklift operator candidates to join our team. Successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and a true sense of urgency KEEPING SAFETY PARAMOUNT. Forklift operators are responsible for placing and pulling product on a busy warehouse floor, properly performing daily pre and post trip inspections of their equipment and utilizing RF scanning equipment to ensure inventory accuracy. Forklift operators need to transport various items throughout the warehouse and slot them properly which requires diligence for the task at hand. Good hand-eye coordination is a must for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding and comprehending first in and first out (FIFO)
- Dropping and replenishing warehouse items.
- Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
- Identifying workplace safety hazards.
- Adhering to safety management standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
