Battery Changer - Statesville
Cheney Brothers is looking for hard-working, motivated individuals to join our maintenance team.
North Carolina's fastest growing food service distributor is interviewing for a Battery Changer (Maintenance Dept) in our Distribution Center in Statesville, NC location. Competitive salary with complete benefit package including health insurance and matching 401K plan.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Change powered industrial truck batteries when required
- Operate battery changing machines in safe & efficient manner
- Ensure batteries are sufficiently & properly charged, watering batteries properly
- Washing batteries
- Make minor repairs to batter cables, connectors, racks, etc.
- Keep batter changing machine, racks, area clean and organized
- Reports irregularities and hazards to manager
- Perform all other duties as assigned that are necessary, required or directed by management.
- Schedule: Sundays thru Thursday, 5pm to 2am
